Our Annie (Little Orphan Annie) was mischievous but oh so sweet. She loved her family, but Mom was her favorite. She would hide socks around the house and under sofa cushions that wouldn’t be found for years. She miraculously survived eating an entire bag of M&Ms one time. Towards the end of her fun-filled life, Dad kept buying smaller and smaller bags of dog food because we knew the end was near, but Annie just wouldn’t give up. She will be missed. She will be remembered. Always my pet.
